Michael J. Morykwas, Ph.D., along with Dr. Argenta, is the inventor of the MTR™ and the Vacuum Assisted Closure (VAC) wound-healing technology. He currently serves as the CEO and Chief Science Officer for Renovo Concepts, Inc. and is a Professor Emeritus at Wake Forest University. He served as the University’s Director of Research for the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Dr. Morykwas is a member of more than a dozen professional organizations and served on the Board of Directors of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. He has been with Renovo Concepts since its inception in 2017.
